Stacia Aashna: This 50-minute experiential workshop introduces hypnotists to somatic practices that enhance every stage of the hypnotic process. By learning to recognize nervous system states, attune to subtle client cues, and integrate simple body-based tools, practitioners can help clients enter trance more easily and sustain post-hypnotic suggestions with greater effectiveness.
The session begins with a brief overview of nervous system regulation and how sympathetic, dorsal, and ventral states influence hypnotic receptivity. Participants will then explore pre-induction somatic techniques that ground and settle the body, reducing resistance and increasing readiness. We’ll also practice attunement skills for tracking shifts in breath, posture, and micro-movements — key indicators of client state. Finally, participants will experience post-hypnotic integration tools, such as anchoring suggestions to breath or gestures, that help clients embody hypnotic change in daily life.
The workshop is interactive, blending short teaching segments with experiential practice and guided demos. Attendees will leave with practical, adaptable tools they can immediately apply in sessions to increase safety, deepen trance states, and strengthen the integration of hypnotic work.
